Bird Photography: Lessons and Field Trips

Catch the shot and the passion for bird photography! Explore techniques on how to get as close as possible to the bird’s environment while capturing that prize photograph. Practice these techniques during instructor-led field trips with lifelong birder and bird photographer, Milton Heiberg. Prerequisite: Digital Photography II or similar experience and a 300mm lens (if you are planning to purchase please wait until after the first class). Prerequisite: Digital Photography I or similar experience.

Milton Heiberg

Milton Heiberg was given a Brownie Target camera at age 8 and has been an avid photographer ever since. He is a frequent lecturer on wildlife photography, special effects, and general photography. Thousands of his images have been published worldwide. He is the author of seven books on photographic technique.
