Patricia Byron

Abstract artist and writer/poet, Patricia Isabella Byron was born in Naples, Florida and spent many years living in Turkey and Iran. During her travels through the Middle East and Europe, she was compelled to paint and write about the natural beauty and historical sites. Her abstract paintings are a mood-evoking interplay of emotions and symbolic reflections. Patricia Byron received two Editor’s Choice Awards from the International Library of Poetry and was a 2006 nominee for Global Women’s’ Humanitarian Award presented on behalf of the 1008 Wells Foundation. Patricia volunteers for the ABCs Art Program at the Coalition for the Homeless, art instructor for the Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida and a past member of the Women’s Caucus for Arts. The artist is a descendant of Lord Byron and granddaughter of acclaimed Honduran-Italian writer and composer Fernando Ferrari.
