Storytellers XVII: West of the East Coast TracksLocation: Traveling
Epcot’s 2nd Annual International Festival of the Arts
Storytellers XVII took place in the historic African-American west-side community of New Smyrna Beach, where 12 students were mentored and taught by Crealdé photography faculty Peter Schreyer.
The project represents a partnership between Crealdé and the Mary S. Harrell Black Heritage Museum. Storytellers XVII was unveiled May 7 at the Mary S. Harrell Black Heritage Museum in New Smyrna Beach.
Since 1996, Crealdé’s Storytellers Teen Documentary Photography Program has given photography instruction to students ages 13-17, providing the opportunity for self-expression while exploring the heritage of their home community.
In conjunction with this exhibition and Epcot’s 2nd Annual International Festival of the Arts, Crealdé will offer workshops and seminars taught by our professional artist faculty
