Crealdé's Sixth Annual Night of Fire
Winter Park Campus
The campus comes alive after dark for the sixth annual Night of Fire. Tour the studios and galleries, participate in art workshops and demonstrations including welding, kiln and raku firing, and painting and drawing. After sunset, watch a spectacular light painting photography display over Lake Sterling. Hands-on youth workshops are offered early in the evening from 5-6:30 pm, then enjoy live music, refreshments and storytelling around the fire, as well as additional hands-on workshops for adults until 8 p.m. Visit the opening of the Director’s Choice VI exhibition in the galleries. Food from the grill
is provided by Millers Hardware of Winter Park with microbrews served from The Hourglass Brewery in Longwood. Admission is free. Suggested $5 donation to cover direct expenses.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
The main campus front office and galleries will be closed and will reopen at 9 am Tuesday, January 17. The Hannibal Square Heritage Center will be open for tours in conjunction with the annual Winter Park Unity Heritage Festival held next door at Shady Park. Admission is free.

Jack King: Searching for Truth

Initially inspired by stories of Cuban rafters, Tampa-based artist Jack King incorporates nautical elements into his work as he explores these and similar quests. Opening Events:
Friday, January, 27. Celebrate the two-gallery exhibition by the Tampa artist beginning with a 7-8:30 pm reception with the artist at the Crealdé Winter Park main campus in the Alice & William Jenkins Gallery and continuing from 8-10 pm at the Hannibal Square Heritage Center with live music. Admission is free.
