Art Immersion-Film Photography (ages 12-16)

*This one-week camp meets Monday through Friday.* Put our 35mm and Holga cameras into action. Explore subject matter, composition and light, then develop and print negatives with “green” chemicals in the darkroom.

Crealdé’s Young Adult Immersion program gives students the opportunity to concentrate on one medium exclusively for one week.

John Baker

John Baker, a multi-Best in Show awarded artist, is a dual-Bachelor Degree earner in Arts, and Sciences, from the University of Central Florida. After almost 20 years of being known on campus only as “the guy that rents the darkroom”, he was brought out of the shadows and given several responsibilities at Crealdé school, including that of photo instructor. John currently shares his love and knowledge of film photography in both youth and adult classes, guiding artists young and old in the processes of creating traditional black and white images from capture to print.
