3-D Design

A design problem is given for the term, emphasizing one or two design elements in particular. Discussions about design and the finished pieces are a part of each class. If a base for the piece is needed, that becomes part of the discussion as well. Some hand-building skills are required. Prereq: TD122, TD135 or similar experience

Sculpting the Human Head

***This Two-Day Workshop will meet on Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21.***
Professional sculptor David Cumbie guides students as they create life-size busts. Students will learn techniques for capturing accurate proportions of the head and a variety of facial features during this intensive, two-day workshop.
