Discover the fundamentals and hone your skills through wheel throwing, hand building, and surface design in a supportive studio setting. Each session offers guided practice with room to experiment, whether it’s your first time touching clay or you’re refining long-practiced techniques. Create functional pottery that reflects your unique style, from everyday vessels to expressive, decorative forms.

Required Supplies

Purchase clay at first class by cash, check - $25 (checks payable to Crealdé School of Art)

Special Notes

Starting in the Winter 2027 session, Winter Garden students will have access to the main campus in Winter Park campus to make and use the glazes but will need to transport all of their work back to Winter Garden to be fired. No Winter Garden student work will be fired on the main campus. We will assess the feasibility for both Winter Garden and Winter Park studio capacity at the end of the Spring session and decide how to move forward. Thank you for your understanding.
