Loosen up your painting style and add interest to your paintings through studies using palette and painting knives and other straight tools. Expand your painting skills while exploring new ways to express your artistic vision and creativity. Subject matter will be landscape (from reference photos) and still life (stage setups).
Prereq: PD103 and PD157 or similar exp.
Required Supplies
SUPPLY LIST:
Canvas sizes 9x12 to 11x14
Drawing tools & a few paint brushes
Oil paints, medium, & solvent (or Acrylic paints)
Bring colors you are familiar with;
Student grade paints and/or Hues are recommended for this class
Any palette or painting knives you have

Beth Pendleton
Beth is inspired by American impressionists, and endeavors to capture the beauty of our Florida waterways and wildlife using traditional oil paint and methods. Her work has been exhibited at Leu Gardens, the Art League of Daytona Beach, the Casselberry Art House, and the Mt. Dora Center for the Arts. She is currently a member of Studio 807 on Virginia Drive in Orlando, and teaches oil painting and color classes at the Crealdé School of Art.
