Bring your own high contrast negatives and learn to create the Sabattier effect in the darkroom to dramatic effect. Compare and mix developer, test photo papers, creatively bleach, and learn to control or embrace the chaos of this creative darkroom process.
Prereq: Black and White Photo I or similar exp.

Donald Kratt

Donald Kratt is originally from Michigan, and has degrees in Finance and Computer Science. He has developed commercial insurance, legal, electronic signature and speech recognition applications, and has been a Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer in software companies. He has been photographing since the 1970s and will happily allow you to view the Kodachrome slides he took then. He previously served as a fellow in the Crealdé photography department, and has had darkroom prints displayed in 30+ US galleries and exhibits.
